With more than 70 years of expertise as a multidisciplinary firm, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM) has developed a portfolio of world-renowned projects and a reputation to deliver the highest quality of service.
As an interdisciplinary practice composed of award-winning architecture, structural engineering, campus planning, and interior and graphic design, SOM approaches each project holistically. All of this multi-disciplinary knowledge and experience informs their earliest program strategies and conceptual approaches to building, siting, and concept design. With this rigorous interdisciplinary outlook, these initial programs, concepts, and estimates are more likely to hold, not only in the future design phases, but throughout the life of the building.
For nearly 30 years PWP Landscape Architecture, under the leadership of Peter Walker, has developed a tradition of design practice that responds to as well as influences its environment.
